Keith Xmas WVS Message

My 2024 reflections and a look towards an exciting 2025!

As Christmas draws near, I wanted to reflect and comment on 2024.

There have been many amazing and heartwarming achievements this year and I’m grateful to the many people who contact me with their feedback and let me know how our work has changed their lives.

Perhaps one of the most important achievements in terms of the history of this charity, has been the complete refurbishment and remodelling of our Warwick offices.  This has been more than just an office refurbishment – we have created a community space to be proud of and something that strengthens our ability to serve people in need of our support as well as the wider Warwick area.

Some thank you messages …

To our volunteers, thank you for your unwavering dedication. Whether through befriending calls, home visits, club helpers or admin volunteers – all of your commitment has touched and helped our community.

To our donors and fundraisers, your generosity fuels our work. This year’s events, from community gatherings, pub quizzes and individual challenges have not only raised vital funds but also raised the profile of our work.

To our trustees, your support and guidance have been instrumental in navigating challenges and embracing opportunities to make sure we move forward in our mission to support the visually impaired community.

To our staff, your unwavering commitment and willingness to go the extra mile, makes a profound difference to the lives of the people and communities we support.  I’m grateful for your personal support making our plans a reality.

As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited about the chance to expand our reach, develop our services and continue to support and empower those with sight loss.

So, thank you all for making 2024 a year of progress and hope.

Here’s to an even brighter year ahead!
